Saturday was opening day for my wedding season. The first one of the year always gives me butterflies in the stomach – is all my equipment really ready, have I forgotten anything, do I still remember how to shoot a wedding! Watching the Steelers thrash the Patriots today got me to thinking about a wedding I shot this summer in the mountains of Western Pennsylvania, not far from Pittsburgh. Ashley and Ben came home ( they both work in the Middle East) for their wedding and were married in the mountains at Ashley’s parents country home. An amazing couple blessed with equally amazing family combined to make an unforgetable weekend. (more…)
